The Sweater

I did it.  I'm so proud of myself.  I knit a baby sweater!!  I started this sweater in July of 2007 a month before Lewie was born.  Since we didn't know if he was a boy or a girl, I decided to knit a safe color in a 6 month size.  I was told this was easy.  Ha. But with lots of wonderful help from the gals at Monterey Yarn, I actually finished it, 7 months later.  It's just a little big on Lew, so it turned out to be perfect timing!  I can't tell you how many times I knit for hours, and then ripped it all out because it was wrong.  I was determined and the end result was worth it.

Nice work, Julie. You always do things so well.
The time since Christmas for us has been a time of personal challenge and growth but sometimes hard (as growth often is)
We will be seeing Mike, Hannah, and Addie in March down there which will hopefully ne good for both them and us. I still need to practice not putting my hopes for happiness in my kids. The Lord reminds me.
I can't believe that Molly'[s time is coming close-wow. Keep us up on it. Hope the blog works for you.
Love, Lin
